A great Portland jazz quartet, The Joshua Gilbert Quartet plays great romantic standards of the classic jazz era. Featuring the classic jazz lineup of saxophone, piano, bass and drums. We can also play as a quintet with a trumpet player, or as a trio or duo depending on your needs and budget.

We play all the classic wedding favorites, beautiful ballads, and celebrations of romance that help to make a special day. We are highly professional and easy to work with, and make it easy for you to enjoy your wedding day!

If you like swing dancing, we have the groove that you need! Whether you're organizing a dance, or simply have guests who like to dance, there's nothing like a great live band. We have all played frequently at local swing dances and we know what the dancers like. We love playing for dancers!

We also play as a quintet, typically with a trumpet player, although trombone, guitar, or other instruments are available. Same great jazz standards with an even bigger sound!
If your budget or performance space is limited we can also play as a duo or trio in various arrangements.
